Best italian restaurant I have ever been in Mexico. I go there every opportunity I am in Polanco.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, and it’s a cute spot. My meal, however, wasn’t the greatest. I had the penne bolognese, and the penne was harder and chewier than it should be. The sauce wasn’t the best. I’ve had better bolognese at my hotel here in the city. You might struggle to order if you don’t speak Spanish.

Food was good, nothing too exciting; had the mozzarella (that should only have arugula and more cherry tomatoes instead of the lettuce) and a pizza with spicy salami (tasty sauce but did not love the crust). The panna cotta was tasty, nice consistency and the berries matched perfectly. Nice wine by the glass selection. Prices were decent for the portions. Service was pretty good, attentive, not pushy at all, and efficient. Venue was ok, not loud, kind of cozy. Music was good.

One of my go-to Italian restaurants for special occasions. Excellent pastas & pizzas and great service. The fettuccine en salsa cameron al jengibre is my favourite pasta. Also has one of the best tiramisu’s

Nice and pretty quiet place, the dishes are good but I think them could be better, the wine selections are terrific, one pice of advice cold be add more options without alcohol, price is ok, good election for a romantic date maybe.

The service here was good, they had a lot of waiters but they were a bit aloof. The ambiance was quite calm for a Friday lunch and catered to an older crowd. The food was amazing from start to finish. The beef carpaccio was perfectly balanced. The four cheese pizza was delicious with hints of Gorgonzola that didn’t over power the other cheeses. Both pastas were delicious and decently portioned. Lastly the pear tart took the prize but the profiteroles were also really good. Would definitely come back if I want a nice quiet lunch to catch up over.

At Belfiore, the menu features an impressive selection of handmade pastas and artisanal pizzas, which have garnered accolades for their fresh ingredients and vibrant tastes. G R considers it a go-to spot for special occasions, praising their standout dishes like fettuccine en salsa cameron al jengibre and a delightful tiramisu that leaves patrons enchanted.

However, as with any dining experience, feedback can be mixed. While many dishes receive high praise, some diners like Katie Boudreau noted that not every plate meets the lofty standards set by the restaurant itself. For instance, the penne bolognese left her wanting more in terms of texture and richness.
